Kent Easter and his then-wife Jill Easter, who the Orange County Register reports has since changed her name to Ava Everheart, were convicted of planting drugs in the car of a PTA member with whom they had been feuding in 2011. Kent Easter was a lawyer, but in September 2017, the State Bar of California announced that he had been disbarred.
